    Seeker

    Seeker

Accurately Locate Smartphones using Social Engineering

Seeker is an open source project that demonstrates how to obtain precise location information from devices using social engineering and web-based techniques. The tool sets up a phishing page that asks for location permissions, allowing GPS and other device data to be shared if the user consents. It can capture latitude, longitude, accuracy, altitude, direction, and even speed, with results displayed in a terminal. The project supports both manual deployment and tunneling services like Ngrok for external access. While primarily intended as an educational resource on security awareness, it highlights the risks of exposing geolocation data online. Its simplicity and effectiveness have made it a popular project in cybersecurity learning circles.

    GeigerLog

Python program for Geiger counters and Environmental Sensors

GeigerLog is a combination of data logger, presenter, and analyzer, and is now released in version 2.1! Based on Python (Version 3), it runs on Linux, Windows, Macs, Raspberry Pi, and other. GeigerLog is WiFi-enabled for servers and clients; it can be monitored by SmartPhone. Initially developed for Geiger counters, it is now a more universal tool, which equally well handles data like temperature, air-pressure, humidity, CO2. Continues to support Geiger counters like GQ Electronic's GMC-300/500/600 , RadMon, RadPro, Gamma-Scout, audio-click and other low-cost Geiger counters, IoT devices, I2C based sensors, GQ EMF devices. GeigerLog reads data from devices, saves them to databases, prints to screen and plots as auto-updated, customizable graphs. Quality control using Statistics, Scatter, Poisson, FFT & Autocorrelation, and more. Gamma Spectra - can be displayed, calibrated, and evaluated in GeigerLog! The Raspberry Pi 4, 5 qualify as GeigerLog hosts.

PRTG Catches Network Issues Before They Cause Downtime

Threshold-based alerts flag problems early, so your team can act before users notice, not after.

Reactive troubleshooting usually means hearing about a problem from frustrated users, not your monitoring tool. PRTG sets threshold-based alerts across devices, servers and applications, notifying your team by email, SMS or push the moment a metric crosses a set limit. That means catching a failing disk or overloaded server before it becomes an outage and getting time back from firefighting. Start a free trial and set your first alerts today.

    QUAST

    QUAST

Quality Assessment Tool for Genome Assemblies

QUAST performs fast and convenient quality evaluation and comparison of genome assemblies. It is maintained by the Gurevich lab at HIPS (https://helmholtz-hips.de/en/hmsb). For the most up-to-date description, please visit http://quast.sf.net. Below are just some highlights. QUAST computes several well-known metrics, including contig accuracy, the number of genes discovered, N50, and others, as well as introducing new ones, like NA50 (see details in the paper and manual). A comprehensive analysis results in summary tables (in plain text, tab-separated, and LaTeX formats) and colorful plots. The tool also produces web-based reports condensing all information in one easy-to-navigate file. QUAST and its three follow-up papers (MetaQUAST, Icarus, QUAST-LG) papers were published in Bioinformatics; the last paper (WebQUAST) is out in Nucl Acid Research.

    Earth Enterprise

    Earth Enterprise

Google Earth Enterprise - Open Source

Earth Enterprise is the open source version of Google Earth Enterprise (GEE), a powerful geospatial application suite that enables organizations to build and host custom 3D globes and 2D maps using their own imagery and data. Unlike Google Maps or Google Earth, Earth Enterprise does not include Google’s proprietary imagery but instead provides the tools needed to manage and visualize private geospatial datasets. The system is composed of three main components: Fusion, which processes and integrates imagery, vector, and terrain data into unified map layers; Server, which hosts the resulting globes or maps via Apache or Tornado-based web servers; and Client, which includes the Google Earth Enterprise Client (EC) for 3D visualization and the Google Maps JavaScript API V3 for 2D viewing. Designed for enterprise, research, and government use, it allows for secure, scalable deployment of geospatial visualization systems within private infrastructure.

    GNNPCSAFT Web App

    GNNPCSAFT Web App

Smart Thermodynamic Modeling with Graph Neural Networks

The GNNPCSAFT Web App is an implementation of our project that focuses on using Graph Neural Networks (GNN) to estimate the pure-component parameters of the Equation of State PC-SAFT. We developed this app so the scientific community can access the model's results easily. In this app, the estimated pure-component parameters can be used to calculate thermodynamic properties and compare them with experimental data from the ThermoML Archive. - CPU-compatible desktop build The standard desktop release requires AVX2. For older CPUs, the runtime-compatible variant can be found with the suffix "-rtcompat-".

    PhyloTrack

    PhyloTrack

PhyloTrack, D3.js and JBrowse for phylogeny and positioning of samples

PhyloTrack is a JavaScript--based software tool that integrates the D3.js library for data visualization with the JBrowse tool for genome browser representation. It requires a phylogenetic tree of the common Newick data format as input, as well as three meta data files for samples, clade-defining nodes and clade color definitions - all in tab delimited format. Functionality within PhyloTrack shows the informative markers at each node in the phylogenetic tree, therefore highlighting clade-defining polymorphism. This functionality has been implemented using the tabix tool on the server side, providing simple and rapid access to the information at each tree node, including informative SNPs stored in VCF-similar files. These informative variants have been established by comparing allele frequencies between strain-types using ancestral node comparisons and FST measures of population differentiation.

    AirTSP

Simulated Airline Travel Solution Provider Library

AirTSP is also named AirTSP (TSP standing for Travel Service Provider). That project aims at providing a clean API and a simple implementation, as a C++ library, of an Airline Schedule Management System. It is intended to be used in simulated environments only: it is not designed to work in the real-world of Airline IT operations. AirTSP/AirTSP makes an extensive use of existing open-source libraries for increased functionality, speed and accuracy. In particular the Boost (C++ Standard Extensions: http://www.boost.org) library is used. AirTSP/AirTSP is the one of the components of the Travel Market Simulator (http://www.travel-market-simulator). However, it may be used in a stand-alone mode.

    Brewery HMI

Web app for all-grain brewers. Automate your electric brewery.

This project is UI to guide the user through the steps of home brewing. Each beer has a recipe of ingredients, but it also has a “recipe” for the process to make the beer. This app allows you to load a recipe (BeerXML), guide you through the brewing steps and record any details so that you can improve next time. By default, this app relies on user inputs and feedback from the real-world. There are easy hooks to a link up a real system, so that if you wanted to automate some of the input and feedback it could be possible (ex. read temperature from sensor. Turn heat source on/off). This project uses the free Maker Edition of the Ignition platform. https://inductiveautomation.com/ignition/maker-edition Sierra Nevada and Stone Brewery use the (paid) Ignition platform. https://inductiveautomation.com/resources/casestudy/ignition-system-meets-all-user-requests https://inductiveautomation.com/resources/casestudy/brewery-improves-efficiency-in-multiple-areas-with-ignition
