Education

Processing Foundation helps students and educators learn creative coding so that they can use technology as a form of expression, and contribute to the tools and communities they learn with.

This means showing learners that software can be shared, improved collectively, and made freely available.

K-12 Professional Development

Art + Code is an immersive professional development program, designed to empower U.S.-based educators to bring fundamental software concepts into K-12 art classrooms. Over the course of the program, participants explore a diverse curriculum that bridges code and art. Using p5.js, a free, open-source platform that makes programming visual and approachable, teachers learn to build interactive artworks, collaborate with peers, and apply computational thinking through artmaking.
